許多西方古典戲劇音樂的故事來自古希臘羅馬神話與文學，Ovid的Metamorphoses《變形記》裡的眾多故事更是不少曲子的題材。我在無意間，前前後後收集了不少與Pyramus and Thisbe故事有關的音樂，所以決定開始寫個與它有關的系列。
