Music on the occasion of my birthday. On this same day (October 30th) in 1944, Copland's Appalachian Spring premiered at the Library of Congress in D.C.. It would go on to win the 1945 Pulitzer Prize for Music.

350th birth anniversary of Teodorico Pedrini (6.30.1671 – 12.10.1746), Italian priest, composer, and missionary in China. His 12 violin sonatas are the only Baroque musical compositions known to exist in 18th century China.
